1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SkillRise Africa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the platform.
2. Platform Description
SkillRise Africa is a marketplace connecting skilled professionals with customers. We facilitate discovery and communication but do not directly provide skilled services. All service agreements are between the professional and the customer.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate, current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use SkillRise Africa.
4. Professional Profiles
Professionals must provide truthful information about their skills, qualifications, and experience. Uploading fraudulent certificates or misrepresenting your abilities will result in immediate account suspension.
5. Verification
Verification badges indicate that a training certificate has been validated by our team or partner institutions. Verification does not constitute an endorsement of work quality. Customers should exercise their own judgment.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not: post false or misleading content, harass other users, use the platform for illegal activities, attempt to circumvent security measures, scrape or data-mine the platform, or create multiple accounts.
7. Intellectual Property
SkillRise Africa owns all platform content, trademarks, and technology. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant us a license to display it on the platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
SkillRise Africa is not liable for the quality of services provided by professionals or for any disputes between users. We provide the platform 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time through their dashboard settings.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
